Warning!

There are an ever increasing number of people in the UK and Ireland who claim to be able to teach you how to airbrush. We know this because we have taught many of them. Be cautious of adverts and web sites claiming ten, twenty and even thirty years of experience. We strongly recommend you do your research.

• Search independent forums for feedback

Here are some facts that may help you to decide;

• We don't compete with you
SM Designs is the UK's only 100% dedicated teaching facility. This is where we differ from all other tutors who take on commissioned work and teach you on a part time basis. They teach you one day and compete against you the next. We feel this is a conflict of interest and unfair to students. At SM Designs we prefer to focus totally on our students and actually refer paint work enquires to them.

• No hidden costs
The price we say is the price you pay. All equipment used for the duration of the course is free, including as much tea /coffee as you can drink throughout the day.
All students take home their work whether it is on panels, T-shirts, false helmets or tanks, canvas boards and even car bonnets free of charge. And don't worry if you can't get it on the plane, we'll post it!

• Value for money
Our classes officially run from 10 o'clock to 5 o'clock. However in all the years we've been teaching we have never finished before six o'clock and in many cases we run on to 7 or even 8 o'clock. If you take this over a three day class it usually adds up to a free days tuition!!!

• No Taxis, Buses or walking (NI Only)
At SM Designs we appreciate the fact that you have travelled some distance to attend our classes. Therefore we are only too glad to pick you up at the airport, boat terminal or train station. We will collect you and take you to your room and back to the airport again. Pick you up each morning and take you back to your room each evening.
